Raise money for The Exceptional Foundation of Charlotte
The purpose of the Let Them Soar 5K is to raise the funds necessary to operate the Recreational Day, School Day Out, and Summer Programs that The Exceptional Foundation of Charlotte offers to individuals with disabilities in our community. To date, The Exceptional Foundation of Charlotte serves 50 individuals on an annual basis. Our participants come from the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County and surrounding counties.
The Exceptional Foundation of Charlotte is committed to including individuals with disabilities regardless of their financial means. To that end, our program participants pay only 1/3 of the total cost of our programs and services. The rest of our program costs are covered through fundraising and private donations. In addition, proceeds from the Let Them Soar 5K will be used to provide scholarships to participants in need of additional financial assistance. One Hundred Percent of the funds raised from the 5K will be used for these stated purposes.
